Just a note.

Yesterday was kind of a bummer. I wore black to work, just to make fun of myself a little: black slacks, black socks, black clogs, black dressy T-shirt, white-with-black-dots barrettes. Regretted that I had polished off all the Tootsie Roll miniatures that went to work with me on Tuesday, because I could have used the chocolate.

My guy lost. The incumbent, however, is not the Anti-Christ, and I will pray for our leadership and rejoice in the fact that for Presidents, at least, there are term limits.

What would I like to see in the White House? Conservative. Female. LDS. Business acumen. A nice blend of feisty and gracious.

Sheri L. Dew in 2016! (The article is brief and well worth your time.)

Have a follow-up appointment with my allergist this morning. Ironically, I woke up with a stuffy head, and I know from experience that I should not take Zyrtec during waking hours. Maybe I should just stuff half a Tootsie Roll miniature (there are still a few here at home) in each nostril and hope for the best?

My guy won, but he needs shaking up a little, too.

One of the things I have always said, is that for us to be a NAtion to be proud of, we need everyone at the table. we need a lot more moderates, and enough conservatives and liberals to keep everyone thinking and talking and keep things balanced.

Thank you for not thinking the incumbant is not the Anti-Christ! I didn't think Mr Romney was an idiot either.

Those of us liberals who have brains, want candidates for the next run that run the gamut from religious right to atheist left, so we have real choices and we, as a nation can actually have authentic dialogues about who we are and where we want to go.

Thank you for your vote, even if you didn't vote for my guy.

I'm with you, a nice moderately conservative woman in the White House would be just fine by me!

We should always pray for our leadership and rejoice that its only 8 years, even if we are on the winning side. Stasis leads to stagnation and that is very definitely Un-American.

the Green Party's candidates this year were both women. Smart women at that.

@Tola - I looked at both of them and was quite impressed, I think if they run again, I would support them.

@Leslie - thank you for having an open mind.

@Tola - I have to! Between the loud-mouthed rebellious women of my family, and the fact my mother was a secretary for a loud-mouthed old school liberal Democrat during my formative years, I think he and my father would roll over in their graves if I didn't at least try to understand all the viewpoints presented, and allow for the fact that I *might* be wrong.

Only might, y'understand. I am way too much my father's stubborn youngest to think otherwise. ;)
