Knitting up that Ravelled Sleave

A good night’s sleep did wonders. So did reading a few pages in Talmage’s Jesus the Christ. So did finishing Clue #2 on the second mystery sock.

And I am nearly to the gusset increases on the Mean Green Jellybeans.

Can’t wait until Trainman asks how my weekend went. Can’t wait to get to my desk at work, where ~ as with my knitting ~ I have some small degree of control over what happens. Feeling very thankful for that blessing yesterday; at least this morning I did not wake up with clenched shoulders, and tenderness radiating up into my neck and jaw, or possibly vice versa.

Have a little more baklavaa-a-a-ah! [second song]

Somewhere we can exert some small degree of control is good, I think. I am currently enduring a few physical unpleasantries due to some of those things over which I have no control -- children!
I wonder - do you have a mother? I haven't had one here for so long (30 years yesterday, to be exact) that I THINK it would be nice to talk with one, but you never know.

I think I got an hour of sleep last night. I was up all night sniffling and sneezing in reaction to all of the nasty mountain cedar. I'm glad you slept though, it's been so long since you were able to do that, you deserve many years of good nights of sleep.
