Snow? In Texas? In March?

I opened the door so I could take a picture of it, and of course it’s gone.

But Middlest’s sock is not. Behold: a heel!

Note how the “diaper” pattern continues down the back of the heel. I wasn’t too sure about the short rows on the heel turn, because the stitches are knit, not slipped. But there are no holes.

Not the best picture quality, but I took it at o’dark o’clock in my room. Memo to self: never try to cleverly insert properly formatted apostrophes immediately after cutting-and-pasting a photo. Fuzzy punctuation [even if it has perfectly turned heels] will never get you an A in English class.

This is the part where I put on my socks and another layer or twelve and go out to scrape off my windshield. This is also the day in which I drink my breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all snacks in between. Including half a gallon of bug juice.

Another memo to self: vote in the Texas primary *before* drinking bug juice. Other voters will appreciate this.

I woke up congested. My right ear vaguely hurts. I want my mommy. But Tan sent me this. Which makes almost everything almost all-better.

The sock is looking wonderful. Hope all goes well with the bug juice :)

The "diaper" pattern looks so nice down the back of the heel. Good luck voting for the lesser of two evils today. Sorry to hear about the snow... We had 81 deg yesterday on the drive home. Sorry but I couldn't resist.
